Lexeya
Security

Your data deserves serious protection

Lexeya is developed for environments where privacy, access control and data availability are not optional extras but fundamental requirements.

Security is not an add-on

It is part of the architecture.

Legal data demands a serious approach to access control, activity logging, backups and infrastructure management. Lexeya is developed with a focus on security, control and transparency.

Access by role and responsibility

User access to functions and data can be tailored to each user's role within the organisation. The menu shows only the parts the user is authorised for, and certain users can be limited to the matters they are assigned to.

Logging of important activities

The system can log relevant activities for better oversight and tracking of changes, such as changes to a file's location and activities on a matter, with the user and the time.

Data protection and recovery

Backups and a recovery plan are an integral part of any serious business system. In the Cloud model they are part of the service; in the Private model they fit into your own strategy.

Private deployment for extra control

For organisations with special requirements, Lexeya can be deployed on private infrastructure.

GDPR

Personal data protection

Lexeya is developed within the European regulatory and business context, including requirements relating to the protection of personal data.

A law firm is, as a rule, the controller of its clients' data. If you use Lexeya as a service, the processing relationship is governed by a contract, and you can export your data whenever you need it.

More about GDPR

Encrypted connection

Access to the application and the website runs over HTTPS.

Personal logins

Every user has their own account, with no shared passwords.

Data location

In the Private model, you choose the data location yourself.

Reporting vulnerabilities

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Does Lexeya have security certifications?
On our website we state only what is documented and confirmed. If your organisation has formal requirements, such as a supplier security questionnaire, send it to us and we will answer it point by point.
Who in the firm sees which data?
Permissions are assigned by user and role. The firm decides who sees which part of the system, and who sees all matters versus only those they are assigned to.
Can we get our data back if we stop using Lexeya?
Yes. The data is yours. Data export and the terms for ending use are agreed in the contract before work begins.
Where is the data if we use Lexeya Private?
On infrastructure chosen by your organisation: your own server, private cloud or virtual server.
