Two roles: the website and the application
On the lexeya.com website we are the controller of the data you send us through the forms. How we process it is described in the privacy policy.
In the Lexeya application the law firm is, as a rule, the controller of its clients' and parties' data. When a firm uses Lexeya Cloud, we process that data on the firm's instructions as a processor, and the relationship is governed by a data processing agreement. With Lexeya Private, the data sits on infrastructure controlled by the organisation.
How Lexeya helps your firm
- Permissions by role: access to data only for those who need it for their work.
- Activity log: recording of important changes, with the user and time.
- Backups: protection against data loss.
- Choice of data location: through the Lexeya Private model.
- Data export: the firm's data can be exported, including when it stops using the service.
Data processing agreement
We offer firms that use Lexeya Cloud a data processing agreement in accordance with Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Request it through the contact form, with the topic Security.
Exercising your rights
If your data was received through our website, you exercise your rights directly with us, as described in the privacy policy. If you are a client of a firm that uses Lexeya, contact that firm as the controller to exercise your rights.
